What can I expect to pay?

Standard Therapy Session - 55 minutes- $225

Intensive Therapy Sessions:

For those who don’t need ongoing therapy but want focused support around a specific issue. Intensive sessions provide dedicated time to talk through challenges like a care transition, new dementia-related behaviors, or complex family dynamics.

Session Options: 90 minutes to 3 hours

($350-$650 depending on length)

All appointment types available for individuals, pairs, or families via secure telehealth.

Why don’t you take insurance directly?

Many insurance plans require a formal mental health diagnosis to provide reimbursement. This often doesn’t reflect the real needs of caregivers and families navigating dementia, whose challenges are unique and complex. By not billing insurance directly, I can focus on providing flexible, personalized, and truly person-centered support without the constraints of insurance requirements. For clients who wish to use their benefits, I provide the necessary documentation for out-of-network reimbursement whenever possible.

How can I pay for services?

Payment is due in full at the time of the session. I accept all major credit cards as well as FSA/HSA cards. If you have out-of-network benefits that you would like to utilize, I can provide a superbill after payment has been processed.

What is the No Surprises Act?

The No Surprises Act, part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, protects clients from unexpected medical bills. The Good Faith Estimate provision ensures you receive a clear understanding of anticipated costs for services prior to your appointment.

The number of sessions and frequency of therapy depend on clinical needs, caregiving circumstances, and therapeutic progress, all of which influence overall costs.

How will we meet?

We will meet using a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. We can also meet via phone call if you or your loved one prefers that. I offer virtual sessions for your convenience. However, licensing regulations require you to be physically located in Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, Oregon, or Florida (where I hold active licenses) at the time of the session.

Non-Emergency Therapist

I offer non-emergency therapy services strictly by appointment only. Please note that I do not offer 24-hour emergency assistance. In the event of a true emergency, I strongly advise you to contact 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room for immediate assistance.
